Procedure of assessing the error of the device for measuring mass-centering and inertial characteristics of nanosatellites using reference objects

In this paper, we solve the problem of experimental determination accuracy a device for measuring mass-centering and inertial characteristics nanosatellites which was developed at Samara University based on principle inverted torsional pendulum. A procedure determining measurement error inertia tensor components center-of-mass coordinates using reference objects is proposed. For purpose, composite object variable configuration produced in form CubeSat 3U nanosatellite. With help standard, modified method conducting an experiment developed, allows reducing influence errors manufacture its tooling by averaging homogeneous quantities. The article presents results series experiments to determine three variants assembly. This confirmed theoretically calculated stated technical documentation device. addition, electronic optical sensor installed evaluated it found that environmental factors operation insignificant can be neglected. work used 1U-3U nanosatellite pre-launch testing stage.
